In 2012 CSI Lifecycle Services opened its brand new technical centre which allows us to provide auditing services on large volumes of IT equipment.
Alongside our existing warehouse we now have a dedicated auditing area in our technical centre which means we can test hundreds of pieces of equipment at the same time. The technical centre is located in a secure building fitted with CCTV. All staff on the premises carry ID cards with access to the building limited to authorised personnel only to ensure your IT equipment does not fall into the wrong hands.
Once your equipment reaches our secure warehouse we perform a full audit and data destruction procedure using the industry-leading Blancco software. Blancco’s certified and trusted data destruction software ensures your sensitive data is securely destroyed. Blancco also generates an automated report containing line by line detail such as hard drive serial number, hardware specification, technician name amongst other things.
CSI Lifecycle Services is also able to offer onsite data wiping to customers concerned about sensitive data leaving their premises. We can set up on your premises and sanitise all hard drives using the CESG-approved Blancco software. If data wiping fails for any reason, the software will give details of the fault so that an alternative method of destroying the data can be employed, including physical destruction.
